Ross Woodhams

Woodys influences are from 70's and 80's rock/punk stables such as Queen, The Sweet, AC/DC, Def Leppard, Bryan Adams, Motley Crue, Foreigner, Sex Pistols, Rob Zombie and lets not forget to add David Bowie, Iggy Pop and The Cure to that infamous list.

Ross brought the rock in no small way and it was exactly what the film needed. I cannot tell you how awesome it was to have some good solid, Aus Rock as the basis for the soundtrack. Not only that but Ross brought his mate Jamie Murgatroyd to the party to fill out the score and whilst the styles of the two men are different, they blend beautifully.

I cannot recommend these two artists highly enough.

Jamie Murgatroyd

Jamie learnt guitar for 2 years, then taught himself to play after finishing year 12. He has have been making his own music since the start of 2007 and was asked to write the score for 'Temper, Blood, Fury' (the Batavia movie) in April of 2008. The score has been written, but the movie is on hold for the time being.

Since then Jamie has teamed up with a local director, Chris Lewis from Rainy Cloud Pictures and have written for a short film he was making and for 2 trailers for his feature. Jamie has also written for a movie called 'Jasper' by Nathan Hill (NP Productions) which is due to premiere in February. Jamie has other irons in the fire but it's still to early to claim them as a credit yet ... but stay tuned. Jamie has known Ross for about 15 years after a few jamming sessions in a warehouse in Geraldton, the two have stayed friends ever since. Jamie is aiming to be one of the best score writers in Australia.
