Making Of

Soundtrack Album

We could not be prouder to announce that our composer, the massively talented Ross "Woody" Woodhams (you can check out his MySpace page here) has put a band together under the apt monniker of "The Last of The Few" to record a full soundtrack album which will include full mixes of all his classic Aus Rock tracks from the score.

About the writer/director

Dave Bishop came 2nd in Project Greenlight Australia with his screenplay Case. His second screenplay Vampires from Wagga was nominated for the Monte Miller Award for Best Un-Produced Screenplay by the Australian Writer's Guild. His first U.S. screenplay (a romantic comedy about the second coming entitled Jesus is Back) has been shortlisted for the screenplay awards of seven international film festivals;

Dave got sick of being told you couldn't make films cheaply that didn't suck (Reservoir Dogs, Clerks, Kenny, Bottle Rocket, Paranormal Activity and so on). So he got together some truly excellent collaborators and managed to assemble possibly the best indie film crew a nobody director could ever hope to find.

The West Australian Newspaper ran an article about the search for zombies and a bunch of TAFE students, Film and Television Institute members, some excellent sponsors and, quite literally, hundreds of zombie volunteers read about the film and came to the party.

Together they have managed to create some spectacular low-budget zombie scenes by using ingenuity, improvisation and sheer weight of numbers in green.

If you have rich mates who may be interested in getting involved with independent films please put them in touch. Whichever way you look at it we've obviously got a skill for gettg a lot out of a very little captial and a savvy backer could end up not only having a great time, meeting actors and getting pole position on the red carpet but also just perhaps making a packet.
